STEM Life is a single-player management game for iPhone. You run a schools racing team through a 49-day season — designing the car, building it, convincing the judges, and racing at the World Finals.
Questions, bugs, or feedback — email themicprogram@gmail.com. I read everything and usually reply within a few days.
If you're reporting a bug, it helps enormously to include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened — which screen, which day of the season.
No. STEM Life is fully offline. It makes no network requests of any kind, and it works in aeroplane mode.
The game saves automatically at the end of every in-game day. There's also a SAVE button in the top bar of the season screen if you want to stop mid-day. Pick up again with CONTINUE on the main menu.
49 in-game days across five stages — Pre-Season, Testing, Regionals, Nationals and the World Finals. That's roughly one to two hours of play, and you can stop and resume at any point.
No — your role is fixed for the season, and it changes which decisions and challenges you get. Start a new season to play a different one. Each of the four roles has its own 40 written decisions, so they play quite differently.
Saves live only on your device. Deleting the app, or restoring a device without an app backup, removes them permanently — there's no cloud copy to recover from. Your career record (seasons, points, titles) is stored separately from the current season, so finishing a season keeps the result even after you start a new one.
No. STEM Life is an independent game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any schools racing organisation or competition. Any resemblance to real-world formats is for the sake of a believable simulation.
STEM Life is portrait-only and designed for one-handed play. Every action is a tap — there are no timed gestures you cannot pause, and no minigame requires precise dragging. If something in the game is hard to read or hard to reach on your device, please email me; that's the kind of report I most want to receive.
